Today, I will be talking about the different types of dreams. Varying from reccuring dreams or even something called epic dreams. However, I wil be talking about three types of dreams: lucid dreans, daydreams, and nightmares.
Lucid dreaming is an occurence in which you realizing you are dreaming. People who lucid dream become active participants in their own dreams, making decisions within them and changing their outcome. Daydreams is classified as a level of conciousness between sleep and wakefulness. Your mind lets your imagination make up scenarios or something of like a fantasy.
Lastly, we will discuss nightmares and its extreme relative, night terrors. Nightmares are disturbing dreams that causing you to wake up feeling anxious or scared. Although, night terrors are similar to nightmares, but more intense. Night terrors are sleep disturbances often in children involving intense amounts of fear, etc. However, sleep terrors are more difficult to wake up from and also hard to recall when awakened.
